System Engineer II
• Experience working with Windows Servers, including Domain Server roles and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with managing and implementing Cloud and virtual environments.
• The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
• Be a team player- Promote cooperation and commitment within the team to achieve goals and deliverables.
• Conduct customer needs analysis to understand requirements and project scope (discovery survey for new clients)
• Supporting Servers, Workstations, and Networks for clients
• Work alongside Service Manager and other engineers to troubleshoot and close escalated tickets as needed.
• Occasional travel offsite if needed by project or client (we offer gas reimbursement after expense report)
• Managing and implementing Cloud and virtual environments.
• Managing/Configuring firewalls
• Ability to recover or rebuild client site systems, and applications.
• Serve in on-call rotation. *We will communicate ahead of time to ensure you’re always aware of your schedule.*
• Any other task or duty as assigned or required.
• VMware Certifications or experience
• Azure Certifications
• Microsoft Certifications (Administrator/Engineer level) or experience
• Windows 10 experience
• Microsoft Server 2012 or higher experience
• Watch Guard Certification preferred but not required- We provide a bonus incentive if you’re able to become WG certified within the first 3 months
• Microsoft Domain Server Roles experience
• Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365 / Microsoft 365 experience
• Microsoft SQL experience
